Camping Clothes

Vacation can be rather costly after you figure all the hotel expenses, gas prices, and eating. So what my husband and I do is camp 5 out of the 7 nights when traveling.

The only downfall to camping is the elements that come along with it. We need to prepare for all types of weather no matter what season it is.

We always bring a nice pair of hiking boots, wool socks, and rain gear. All these items will protect our feet from cold and wetness. Even when we are not hiking it’s nice to be prepared for the walking out side the tent after a night or rain. The rain gear is much needed for those quick walks back and forth to the car and in and out of the tent.

With these three items your camping experience will be given a chance at being a good one. Not every trip is perfect but going prepared definitely helps.

Waterproof Spring With Carhartt Boots

The first few days of spring have already been wet and cold. Although things are warming up I don’t see them drying up any time soon. It looks like my Carhartt Boots are going to save my feet once again from this wet weather.

My favorite pair of boots is the Carhartt Steel Toe Electrical Hazard Waterproof Boot. They are assembled with direct attach construction and full grain waterproof leather. The insides have an alpine lining and removable polyurethane foot bed. Also, as an added bonus, they have oil/slip resistant dual density PUV-Grip and a non-metallic soles.

These shoes protect my feet from more than the weather. They protect my feet from falling object, sharp corners, and slippery surfaces. I guess I couldn’t ask for a better boot to wear on my feet.
