There is nothing like the thrill of building something as beautiful as a home. My brother recently started building his own house where his children will grow and our family can gather to create special memories.

When building a home you have to make many economical decisions and I think he took on one of the most challenging decisions of all, deciding to do it all himself. Although in the long run he will be saving a great amount of money I can tell the stress of building a home, working, and being a father is taking a tool on him and his body.

I decided to try and help him out and introduce him to some Carhartt Clothing that will give him more comfort and make his work day easier. Carhartt has a great line of clothes that is tear resistant yet very professional looking and their pants are designed with lots of pockets making tools, nails, and other supplies more accessible.

Another tip on comfort I gave him was to try a different pair of footwear. I found an athletic shoe design by Works Footwear created with the comfort of an athletic shoe but the steel toe protection of a boot. Although these tips may seam a minor and off topic of building a house he appreciated the comfort throughout his work days and rewarded me back with some advice of his own, “renting is not a bad idea”.
