The snow is falling so that means my work conditions will be getting worse. I often work outside on roof tops and the exterior of the buildings doing maintenance on heating units and more. I am often walking in and out of the buildings trying to not over exert my self because of all the layers of clothing I have on.

After years of this line of work I have come to find that the best solution to my problem is wearing coveralls. Coveralls seams to keep me warm out side but loose and comfy when I am inside. They are easy to remove if I continue to work inside and easy to put on if I have to quickly move outside.

I tend to buy a size or two bigger for more comfort and wiggle room. They fit right over my boots and a heavy jacket if needed. So if you work in an environment like me doing work inside and outside consistently. I would Highly recommend a nice pare of coveralls.

“For 120 years, Carhartt has created and manufactured premium work clothing known for exceptional durability, comfort, quality of construction, and fit that you can feel in the fabrics and see in the performance”…So they say.

My husband has recently bought his first pair of Carhartt pants to wear to his sticky marble and resin filled job. He goes through work clothes like a growing child. He wears them until the holes are no longer bearable or appropriate and the fibers in his clothes are determinant lifeless. We have tryied going the inexpensive route and purchasing old clothes from second hand shops but find he goes through them so quickly it begins to ad up in the end.

So, now we have decided to test the durability of Carhartt and only hope to find a solution to my husbands horrible working conditions. Although, Carhartt clothing may be a little more expensive, if they withstand the harsh elements for a year they have definitely accomplished a solution to our problem.

Today is month 4 of our test and his carhartt clothing is in better condition over the second had clothing he wears. He looks more professional and feels safer in his hole-less and non-frayed clothing. We will come back in a few months to update everyone on the progress.

My husband and I went to Outer Banks, North Carolina and planned on camping along the coast. We were very excited about our coastal adventure until the rain and storms started heading our way. We were weather prepared with Carhartt Clothing and Protective Rain Gear but that didn’t prevent our tent from blowing radically and lightning from striking out of the sky.

We did spend two restless nights at camp because of the wind, lightning, and rain. But then we had three peaceful nights in our tent because of the the ocean sounds and waves rolling in. Although we did have to get use to wet sand in our tent, we were very happy we packed all our Carhartt apparel because it kept up nice and warm when the cool air hit, protected us from the sun when it was hot, and shielded us from the rain when storms hit.

Although the elements of nature plaid a big part in our trip, our Carhartt gear kept us more comfortable and cozy than we could have ever imagined in the circumstance we were in.

Traveling for work these days is very common and not knowing the length of time you will be gone is typical for the traveling laborer. It is important to have a high supply of clothing that can last through many brutal workdays, look professional, and withhold many industrial washes.

During the summer I stock up on many workwear shirts that can hold up throughout my summer workdays. I purchase a sold pair of workboots and make sure I have all the necessary work accessories I may need.

I often purchase short sleeve button up shirts that consist of durable material. These types of shirts can be very affordable and practical for any job that comes my way. These lightweight work shirts also look professional and give me a sense of pride.

I work for a large manufacturing company that has been very successful in the past and continues to carry on as an accomplished plant. My men work very hard and deserve the pay and incentive they get.

One thing I highly believe in supplying my men with the correct work gear. In order for this to happen I must set regulations to the clothing, footwear, and headgear they wear. Some of these items may be costly so I have a Mobile Shoe truck come fully stocked with the correct foot gear and they are given an allowance to spend on the truck.

Using a Mobile Shoe Truck In Greater Cincinnati Area works with our busy schedule and works to meet all our needs. If you were ever interested in using a Mobil shoe truck I would highly recommend it.

Everyone was some how effected by the monstrous amount of snow we received this week. I felt very sorry for the road crews across America and the strenuous hours they put in to keep our roads clear. It’s crazy to think that all their hard work is created so the non-stop working person can keep on keeping on.

I earn a few extra bucks in the winter by plowing the rural roads so everyone can be happy and comfortable getting to their needed destinations. Because I am driving around in my heavy-duty pickup truck, specially made for the snowy conditions, I often need to help others and their stuck vehicles.

It is very important that my attire is fully prepared for the cold weather. That’s why I sport my fully insulated coveralls by Carhartt. They fit directly over my casual work cloths and keep me comfortable through any challenges. It is standard that I buy my Coveralls one size too big so I have full mobility and I am capable of anything.

I truly believe I enjoy blizzards because I am fully equipped for any snow related tasks that come my way.

Under Amour and the terrain

This March I am challenging myself to the fullest potential by hiking the Appalachian Trail. This time of year is very challenging because you may hit snow storms, muddy melt downs, and even better mud slides. But this being my 3rd time to have hiked the trail I know I am fully capable of accomplishing my goal.

The best thing about my Under Armour clothing is that it’s more durable than my wool and nylon clothing and much easier to wear in layers. I wear my Under Armour Tech Long Sleeve to keep me warm in the earl mornings and the Under Armour Loos Fit Tee in the warmer afternoons.

I have a great collection of Under Armour Clothing to keep my dry and cool during the treacherous trudge. I have hats, pants, shirts, and gloves that were specially designed to with hold the below freezing temperatures and hot spells as well.

Hopefully I’ll have an adventure and do some great soul searching during my experience.

Peace,

Timber Tim

Because of the cold weather I finally have a chance to wear my Under Armour Duck Blind Camo Hood. Between working outside all week and chasing ducks on the weekend the Camo hood has been keeping my head and face warm. This top of the line hoodie is created with unique material formulated to wick away moisture and keep me dry. One of its greatest features is its capability to be an open face or full arctic mask. It can be adjusted to cover your neck only if the hood becomes to warm as the day progresses. No matter how I wear it this great Under Armour item is going to keep me warm and dry and the camo pattern only adds to my great collection of hunting gear.

AAHHH Christmas is around the corner and I haven’t been able to shop because of my crazy work schedule and the lack of knowing what everyone wants. Christmas is much more challenging when you become older because gifts need to be practical and thoughtful. That’s why I am doing all my shopping online and only purchasing things my family will be able to use for years to come.

The easiest person to shop for is my brother because he likes anything and everything with the name Under Armour attached to it. This year I am going to purchase him a nice warm Under Armour Tackle Twill Hoodie. Not only will he be extra comfortable this winter, he’ll look good as well.

As for my Dad, he is very hard on his shoes and needs to take better care of them regularly to prolong their lives. So I decided to purchase him some Shoe care which includes Red Wing Leather Protector, Mink Oil, and Redwing footbeds. This gift is perfect because each item is inexpensive and they will each go a long way.

Now, all I have left to do is shop for my wife. I know she would love jewelry, but how practical is that? So I’m going to purchase her some High Visibility Clothing so she is extra safe when she works along the roadside while supervising. I know she will appreciate me thinking of her safety.

Now that I have half my shopping list thought out I better get to it so my orders arrive before Christmas.

This fall has been much colder than anticipated. Men and women who work in harsh elements are getting hit much harder than years past. It’s in their best interest to invest in weather proof gear from head to toe in order to be comfortable and get the outdoor jobs done.

Carhartt has a superior line of rain gear developed for such conditions. Whether the temperature is below freezing or comfortable it’s easy to find the finest gear for the job when it comes to Carhartt Clothing.

The temperature only seam to be dropping so prepare for the worst by adding hats, gloves, and other accessories to complete the winter wardrobes. Under Armour carries an excellent line of camo beanies lined with a warm fleece and stretch material to fit any size head. Also, Redwing, the same great brand many rely on for their workboats, carries gloves meant to protect from water, cold, and other harsh elements ones hands may encounter during the work day.

Protect yourself this season, its better to be safe than sorry!
